A wonderful crew came to Skokie and loaded two trucks including a baby grand piano and an upright! The next day another crew moved us into our new home in Rockford. Tom met with us initially, and provided us with great information. On the day of the move James, the driver and the moving crew began moving us. All of them were extremely polite, hard working even in the pouring rain. The crew that worked to unload us was impressive as well. It was 90 degrees with 90 % humidity. This company trains it’s movers to move things carefully with zero damage to your belongings and home.Both of the movers for our move talked about being trained on how to protect belongings in moving blankets and get them out of the house without any damage whatsoever. They were very respectful and attentive to our needs. They were very receptive to our needs and requests while we struggled through a very difficult and abrupt move.I called them 2 days before we had to move and they fit us in their schedule with no problems. I was so extremely impressed and pleased with the help I received today that I can't find the right words to express my appreciation. I had a very unique and bizarre move and these guys were there on very short notice and they beared down and did way more than I even expected out of them. Initially when I saw the 2 very young men I assumed it would be a long expensive day with nothing much getting accomplished, and I was so wrong that I truly feel guilty for making that assumption. Never once did they get on their phone or sit around visiting and texting like most late teens would do. If I were a man of means, I would've gladly given them each a $100 tip. It's so hard to find good help these days and I'll probably be in shock for a while over how professional and hard working these young men were. I wish I could remember their names because I'd like to say thanks again and thanks for restoring my faith in young men. 👍😉👍. They had to leave around noon today before the job was finished, but they made sure more help showed up to finish and we got it done! If you need real good hard working, strong young, professional men, this I the place to find them.

They were not the cheapest when I was calling around getting quotes, but I never go for the lowest cost because I am more quality driven, tho Straightline's rate was very fair and not overpricedThe movers were very professional and extremely nice and had a stellar attitude. I was more than happy with the service, so much so I went out of my way to call the owner and praise the movers. The guys were awesome. I was in bind and needed two extra guys on short notice. Tim made it happen and they got everything done. It took 9 hours and three trucks full, so it was an hour less than I expected. The things that stuck out for me was that there wasn't any damage to the trim or doors on the new place. You would think moving that much stuff that something would get banged up, but as far as I can tell everything is good.
